Past projects

Past education projects include:

Gallery 37 : Susanne led an extended residency in Birmingham working with a group of socially disadvantaged young people including ex-offenders and refugees. The six-week residency culminated in a final public performance.

Site-specific choreography course: Susanne led this short course for South East Dance National Dance Agency in July 2002. The course enabled local dance artists to explore the issues and opportunities that site-specific choreography raises with on-location practice and debate.

Various lectures for TATE MODERN, University of North London (Architecture Department) and South London University.

Big Leaps, Giant Steps : 10-day Birmingham residency for DanceXchange (National Dance Agency) in which Susanne taught and choreographed for 2 community groups and a group of professional dancers.

Community performance for the First Night Project : Susanne choreographed and co-directed Gallery 37's performance for the First Night Project at the Royal Navy College in Greenwich, London on New Year's Eve 1998.

Station to Station : Susanne led an eight-week youth project, culminating in a performance at North Greenwich Station as part of Station to Station, organised by Greenwich and Docklands International Festival and the South Bank Centre in July 1999.
